Shiva in Indian mythology is revered and worshiped as destroyer of evil and transformer. One of the 64 manifestations of Shiva is unification with the female - takes it to the level of beyond-gender manifest - realization of which means liberation.
He is Substance - She is substrate.
He is static – She is dynamic and creative
He is being - She is becoming
He is one - she is many
He is infinite - She renders the infinite into finite
He is formless and - She renders the formless into myriad forms
Both together create one existence of being of generative and constructive force
